Dear PhD-Students,
Do you want to learn about the analytical techniques available at our department and who to contact for using them? Then join us for the “D-MATL collaboration day”!
We are looking for motivated PhD and postdoc students to present their area of expertise, a certain instrument, analytical technique often used or method developed in their group. The aim is to reinforce intradepartmental collaborations and scientific exchange between students. The presentation will be recorded to be uploaded on your group website.The presentations have the following structure (15 min + 5 min Q&A):
- Technical background information of methods or instruments
- Samples that can be analyzed by this method (scope)
- Examples of how this method was applied
- Contact information of the responsible person
Date: Tuesday, July 28th, 9-18
Where: J4, HCI building
The PhD students giving the presentation will receive 1 credit point. Also, the best presenter will receive a prize. If you are interested, please fill out the following google form until July, 7th. http://goo.gl/forms/vbV989KhZz
Even if you are not into giving presentations in front of an audience – join us anyway! Fill out the above mentioned form until July, 7th.
Preliminary program of the day:
9:30- opening apero and registration
10:00- program starts with welcome and overview of the day
12:00- lunch, sponsored by D-MATL
13:00- second part of program
15:00- end of program, highlight of the day, award of the best presenter, and final apero
